It has been now a tradition of mine after every major trip around the world.
I get ready with a suitcase, backpack, mirrorless camera and the most important thing of all: the iPhone. With the iPhone I get to capture photos I could never have imagined. One thing is to walk around with a mirrorless camera on your neck/wrist all day, but it always comes to an end sooner than anticipated. When the sun goes on a journey on the other side of the globe, I remove the camera from my wrist and I put it back to the backback. Street photography drags you down at the end of the day, and that is just half of the work done behind each and every posted shot.
Well, this is the time where the iPhone shines. Needless to say that the best camera is the camera that is always with you, and the iPhone nails that especially after a long day strolling and thinking what the next most amazing photo will be, setting most of my energy on my mind, making my eyes go crazy. With the smartphone I get to save memories, and with the Live Photos I get to create something special, something like this:
